作为大型高海拔空气簇射观测站(LHAASO)的一个子阵列,KM2A 主要设计用于覆盖北半球大部分天区以搜寻能量高于 10 TeV 的伽马射线源。尽管探测器建设仍在进行中,KM2A 阵列的一半自 2019 年底以来已稳定运行。在本文中,我们给出了 KM2A 数据分析流程以及对蟹状星云(甚高能伽马射线天文学中的标准烛光)的首次观测。通过分析 2019 年 12 月至 2020 年 5 月间 136 个有效观测日的 KM2A 数据,我们以高显著性在 10100 TeV 与 100 TeV 两个能段均探测到来自蟹状星云的伽马射线信号。借助这些观测,我们检验了探测器的角分辨率、指向精度与宇宙线本底抑制能力等各项性能。蟹状星云在 10-250 TeV 能段的能谱很好地符合单一幂律函数 dN/dE =(1.130.050.08)10(E/20TeV) cm s TeV。这与以往其他实验的测量结果一致。这开启了 0.1 PeV 以上伽马射线天文学的新窗口,通过它或可发现宇宙 PeVatron 等超高能伽马射线新现象。
