金属丰富厚盘的本质

摘要
我们将银河厚盘追溯至其目前已知的最高金属丰度。基于对187颗F、G型矮星星的高分辨光谱观测,这些星体通过运动学可关联于薄盘(60颗)或厚盘(127颗),我们发现厚盘星体至少达到太阳金属丰度,甚至可能更高。该发现独立于银河坐标系下U、V、W速度。
