MUSE 是一台巨型积分视场光谱仪，即将成为 VLT 的最新设施仪器。它将于 2014 年 2 月迎来首光。在此，我们总结了建成仪器的性能，并概述了数据归约系统的功能，该系统将 4k CCD 在 24 个 IFU 中分别记录的原始数据，转换为完全校准、科学可用的数据立方体。随后，我们描述了近期关于仪器几何定标和数据处理流水线测试的工作，最后给出欧洲初步验收的结果并对地基调试进行展望。
