阻尼莱曼α系统的金属丰度演化

摘要
我们收集了69个阻尼莱曼α（DLA）系统的数据，以研究红移区间0.0 < z < 4.4内星系的化学演化。为此，我们采用了迄今为止用于校正尘埃耗损的最通用方法。通过χ²最小化获得的最佳解给出的输出参数为整体DLA金属丰度和尘埃-金属比。发现了金属丰度随红移的清晰演化（99.99%显著性水平），平均值从z~4.1处的约太阳值的1/30变化到z~0.5处的约太阳值的3/5。我们还发现，大多数DLA（约60%）表现出与银河系暖晕云最为接近的尘埃耗损模式，且尘埃-金属比与暖晕云非常接近。
