摘要

阿根廷马尔阿尔的 Pierre Auger 观测站旨在研究能量超过 10^18 eV 的超高能宇宙射线的来源。探测器的能量校准基于四个空气荧光探测器系统。为获得可靠的荧光站的热力学信息,实验场址的大气条件在运行期间需要持续监测。观测站大气监测系统的一个组成部分是四个弹性散射激光站,分别位于四个荧光探测器位置。本文描述了该系统的设计、当前状态、标准操作程序及性能。
