摘要
我们研究否定(negation)提升推理，其中谓词上的否定可被解释为仿佛位于该谓词的从句中。为此，我们收集了针对几乎所有英语从句嵌入动词的否定提升判断的大规模数据集，并开发了一个模型，以联合推导动词及其从句的语义类型，以及这些类型与否定提升推理的关系。我们发现，某些否定提升推理可归因于特定谓词的属性，而另一些则可归因于从句结构。
