CHEOPS对K2-24行星系统的再考察

摘要

K2-24是一个行星系统,由两颗凌星的低密度海王星型行星组成,锁定在近乎完美的2:1共振中并显示出大的TTV,即寻找行星迁移特征的极佳实验室。先前使用K2、Spitzer和RV数据进行的研究初步声称其中一颗或两颗行星具有显著的非零偏心率,可能高到足以挑战通过共振俘获的纯盘迁移情景。凭借13条新的CHEOPS光变曲线(行星-b七条,行星-c六条),我们通过纳入所有可用的文献数据,进行了全局测光与动力学再分析。我们获得了K2-24系统迄今最精确的行星参数集,包括精度达1%和5%的半径与质量(目前基本受限于恒星参数的不确定性),以及以极高显著性在两颗行星上检测到的非零偏心率 eb=0.04980.0018+0.0011e_b=0.0498_{-0.0018}^{+0.0011}ec=0.02820.0007+0.0003e_c=0.0282_{-0.0007}^{+0.0003}。如此相对较大的值意味着在迁移阶段期间或之后需要额外的偏心率激发物理机制。此外,虽然先前TTV模型的精度目前已偏移多达0.5天,但我们足够牢固地约束了轨道解,从而能够预测未来约15年即将发生的凌星,进而实现利用JWST或ESPRESSO等顶级设施进行高效的后随观测。
