惯性二重态模型 (IDM) 是标准模型 Higgs-Brout-Englert 扇区的二重态扩展，具有 Z_2 对称性以防止 FCNC。如果 Z_2 对称性未发生自发破缺，则最轻的中性额外标量粒子是一个暗物质候选者。我们简要回顾了该模型的现象学，强调其与电弱对称性破缺 (EWSB) 问题的相关性以及暗物质探测的前景。
