乌尔斯喀何大区的 HI 质量函数

摘要
本文报告了对邻近螺旋星系丰富乌尔斯喀何大区的深层无指向 HI 搜索，采用 VLA 进行，并配合以 CFHT 进行大场域 R 波段成像。目标是测量 HI 质量函数在 10^7 太阳质量以下的斜率，以及亮度函数在 M(R)=-10 以下的斜率。VLA 搜索样本覆盖乌尔斯喀何大区体积的 16%。乌尔斯喀何大区的 HIMF 与 LF 在暗区端均呈近乎平坦状态。未检测到任何自由漂浮的 HI 云。
