HARPS偏振仪

摘要

我们近期在智利拉西拉ESO 3.6米望远镜上完成了HARPS光谱仪的偏振升级。HARPS偏振仪能够利用HARPS的高光谱分辨率和稳定性,实现具有大灵敏度和精度的全斯托克斯光谱偏振测量。本文介绍了该仪器的设计及其偏振性能。首次HARPSpol观测表明,它能够达到约10^-5的偏振灵敏度(在叠加多条谱线后),且不存在显著的仪器偏振效应。
