Galactic disk中包含两个致密天体的二元系统引力波信号

我们通过人口合成方法推导的银河系中包含两个致密天体的双星系统属性。基于这些信息，我们计算了这些双星系统的引力波信号。在f ~< 2 mHz的频率以下，双白矮星 population 形成未被解析的背景，适用于低频引力波探测器LISA。超过该频率限制后，约有数千个双白矮星和少数几十对包含中子星的双星将被解析。约有约500个被解析的双白矮星其总质量超过夸克鲁赫极限。大约有95个这样的系统具有可测量的频率变化，允许确定其啁啾质量。我们讨论了被解析系统的属性。
