摘要

用于中微子探测的巨型射电阵列(GRAND)是一个计划中的超高能(UHE)宇宙粒子大规模观测站,其能量超过 10^8 GeV。其目标是解决 UHE 宇宙射线起源的长期谜题。为此,GRAND 将探测数量空前的 UHE 宇宙射线,并以无与伦比的灵敏度搜寻与之相关的尚未发现的 UHE 中微子与伽马射线。GRAND 将使用大型天线阵列探测由大气中 UHE 粒子引发的大范围空气簇射所产生的射电辐射。其设计为模块化:20 个独立子阵列,每个由部署于 10 000 km^2 上的 10 000 面射电天线组成。分阶段建设计划将在实现重要科学目标的同时验证关键探测技术。在此我们介绍 GRAND 的科学目标、探测策略、初步设计、性能目标与建设计划。
