摘要
从径向速度、Hipparcos proper motions 以及红外周期亮度-距离关系推导的米拉变量的银河运动学被回顾。周期在 145-200 天范围内的本地米拉变量显示出较大的非对称漂移和较大的净向外运动。对这种现象的解释被考虑，（遵循 Feast 和 Whitelock 2000）建议它们是胰瘤-棒 population 的离群成员，表明这条棍延伸到太阳圆之外。
