十三个低密度银河球状星团核心的双星系统比例

我们利用 ACS@HST 收集的深度观测数据，推导了十三个低密度银河球状星团样本中的双星系统比例。通过分析主序星的颜色分布，我们推导出了重现观测到的颜色 - 星等图形态所需的最小双星系统比例。我们发现，所有被分析的球状星团在核心半径内包含的双星比例最小值均大于 6%。估计的双星系统全局比例因星团而异，范围从 10% 到 50%。检测到双星系统相对比例对星团年龄的依赖性，这表明星团核心内的双星瓦解过程是活跃的，并且可以随时间显著减少双星含量。
