我们研究了 DA 白矮星的形成与演化，其前体在从热脉冲 AGB 脱离后不久经历了晚期热脉冲 (LTP)。为此，我们计算了从零年主序星到白矮星阶段的完整演化。我们发现，大部分原始后 AGB 残余物的富氢材料在 post-LTP 演化期间被燃烧，结果是在进入白矮星冷却轨迹时，剩余的氢包裹层变为 10^-6 M，与某些 ZZ Ceti 星的星振动学推断一致。
