ENUBET 窄带中微子束

摘要
ENUBET 的窄带束是 2015 年提出的“受监测中微子束”技术的首次实现。ENUBET 被设计用于在 neutrino beams(中微子束)的衰变隧道中监测轻子产生,并在源处提供 1% 的中微子通量测量。特别地,由大角度正电子产生所监测的 kaons(介子)三体半轻衰变,为新一代短基线实验提供了 GeV 尺度上完全受控的 源。本报告中介绍了 2016–2018 年在 CERN 束流线上测试的正电子标记器原型的性能。
