核子自旋危机的终结

摘要

在深度非弹性轻子散射中得到的核子夸克极化份额偏小,是由于在数据分析中对极化虚光子的通量作出了错误假设所致。真实的极化光子通量源于向强相互作用夸克-反夸克对的涨落,其通量至少比假设值小20\%,因此夸克极化更大。认识到这一特性后,夸克极化与Ellis-Jaffe求和定则给出的结果一致,即与由实验确定的弱耦合常数推导出的预言相符。它也解决了基本Bjorken求和定则未被充分满足的问题。然而,必须认识到这些涨落使得可信地测量夸克自旋变得不可能。
