本文报告对 NOVA Oph 2003 (V2573 Oph) 的中分辨率光谱，该天体于 2003 年 3 月 21 日首次被发现，但直到 7 月 19 日才被报告。我们在 7 月 19-23 日获得的光度测量得到较好的 astrometry，以便在未来几年能够进行后续观测。检查天文测量板可推断出可能的 progenitor candidate，并推导出一次出现亮度下限约为 10.0 星等。光谱显示整体膨胀速度为 2200 km/s，呈现明显的复杂外流亚结构。光谱将该天体鉴定为经典 nova 的 Fe II 亚类。
