导致束缚星团形成的恒星形成比例（星团形成效率，简称CFE）是恒星形成、星团和星系许多研究中的一个核心量。近期结果表明，与普遍假设相反，CFE并非（仅）由气体排出决定，还受到原始环境的影响，尽管其确切行为仍不清楚。本文讨论了哪些机制设定了CFE，在厘清其各自贡献方面取得了哪些最新进展，以及近期需要进行哪些研究以实现对CFE的定量理解。
