银河系外星系的距离

摘要
从 post-Hipparcos 视角评估我们对银河系外星系距离知识的现状。简要概述结构、色 reddening、年龄与金属丰度的影响后，回顾大型银河系云(LMC)的首要距离指示器：SN 1987A 环、头臂星、RR Lyrae 星、Mira 变量星以及双星侵食星。通过这些方法推导出的距离被加权合并，以产生银河系外星系距离模的终极估计。
