CTB109 超新星残留体环境的距离测量

摘要
我们对 CTB109 超新星残留体的环境进行了研究。我们发现该 SNR 位于一条覆盖银河平面约 400 pc 面积的大型 HII 区域复合体中，距离约 3 kpc 位于 Perseus 螺旋臂较近的边缘。此距离下，CTB109 的直径约为 24 pc。我们证明了在距离估计中包含螺旋冲击是确定位于 Perseus 臂中物体可靠距离的终极要求。高浓度的 HII 区域和 SNR 最可能的解释是该 Perseus 臂部分的星形成由螺旋冲击触发。
