高红移类型 2 强源的发现

摘要
我们报告发现了一个在深层 ROSAT 场的光学跟随观测中确认的高红移窄 emission-line 星系。该对象红移为 z=2.35，其窄 emission 线以及高光学和 X 射线 luminosity 表明这是一例罕见的类型 2 强源。内在 X 射线吸收要么非常小，要么我们正在观察散射的 flux，这些 flux 并非直接来自核。该对象的 X 射线光谱比正常强源更硬，这可能意味着一种尚未确认的类似对象在更暗的 X 射线 flux 下 could account for X 射线背景的硬组件的缺失部分。
