ZEUS 微顶点探测器的设计与性能

摘要

为了扩展径迹接受度,改进初级和次级顶点重建,从而增强对短寿命粒子的标记能力,DESY 的 HERA 对撞机上的 ZEUS 实验安装了一个硅条顶点探测器。该探测器的桶部是一个长 63 cm 的圆柱体,硅传感器围绕椭圆束流管排列。前向部分由四个圆形盘组成。总共使用 2.9m22.9 {\rm m^2} 的硅读出超过 20 万个通道。本报告详细介绍了探测器的设计与构建,并回顾了已完成系统的性能。
