DESI DR1 特殊速度巡天:模拟星表

摘要

我们描述了暗能量光谱巡天仪器特殊速度巡天(DESI-PV)第一数据发布(DR1)官方模拟星表的生成过程。我们的模拟星表再现了低红移(z<0.1z<0.1)处亮星系巡天的数密度与聚类特征,以及 DESI PV 的基本平面和 Tully-Fisher 距离样本,由此导出特殊速度。我们仔细匹配模拟数据与真实数据的性质,并模拟距离指标和特殊速度的测量,使其遵循与真实数据相同的统计性质。Ia 型超新星的模拟样本也补充了另外两种距离指标。我们 675 个可用的模拟实现被配套论文中描述的三种不同方法一致用于测量 DESI PV DR1 的结构增长速率 fσ8f\sigma_8。这些模拟使我们能够以前所未有的精度对聚类模型和不确定性估计进行精确检验,并计算方法之间的相关性。DESI DR1 PV 增长速率测量的共识值为 fσ8=0.450±0.055f\sigma_8 = 0.450 \pm 0.055。该模拟星表样本是迄今为止用于特殊速度宇宙学测量的最大且最真实的集合。
