D0 Run II 撞击参数触发器

摘要

D0实验在费米实验室Tevatron ppbar对撞机Run II期间将研究的许多物理课题会产生含b味粒子的末态。例子包括希格斯搜寻、顶夸克产生与衰变研究,以及B衰变的完全重建。作为D0探测器Run II升级一部分而安装基于硅的顶点探测器,显著增强了对此类模式的灵敏度。有趣事件必须在100-200微秒内初步甄别以供后续研究。本文描述了D0触发系统中使用的定制电子学,用于实时甄别具有与b味粒子衰变相符径迹的事件。
