摘要
"宇宙三角"被引入作为表示宇宙过去、现在和未来状态的一种方式。我们在宇宙三角中的当前位置由三个问题的答案决定：宇宙中有多少物质？膨胀速率是在减慢还是在加快？宇宙是平直的吗？近期观测的回顾表明，宇宙是轻质量的（物质密度约为临界值的三分之一），正在加速膨胀，并且是平直的。加速意味着存在宇宙暗能量，它克服了物质的引力自吸引并导致膨胀加速。
