研究了 e+e- 实验中 psi(2S) 的连续单光子湮灭。通过现象模型估计这些对最终态 omega pi0 和 pi+pi- 在 psi(2S) 质量处的贡献。发现必须在确定 psi(2S) --> omega pi0 和 psi(2S) --> pi+ pi- 分支比率以及其他电磁衰变模式时考虑这些贡献。该研究得出结论，为了 BES 获取这些衰变模式的正确分支比率，至少需要 10 inverse pb 的数据位于 psi(2S) 峰下方。
