摘要

CODEX 是一台将由 E-ELT(迄今构想的最强大望远镜)馈送的高分辨率、超稳定光谱仪,它将首次提供直接测量宇宙膨胀率随时间变化的可能性,以及更多功能,从基本常数的变化到寻找类地行星。目前,一个包括 ESO、IAC、INAF、剑桥大学 IoA 和日内瓦天文台在内的合作组织正在进行一项研究,旨在 VLT 上实施 CODEX 的前身项目,名为 ESPRESSO。本次报告聚焦于该实验的宇宙学方面。
