CIDA-QUEST 大尺度变异性调查在 Orion OB 关联中的结果

我们在委内瑞拉使用 8k×8k CCD 马赛克相机对 120 平方度的 Orion OB 关联进行大规模、深入的光学、多时段、光度(BVRIHa)调查，以识别年龄小于约 10 Myr 的低质量恒星群。我们报告了覆盖 Orion 1b、1a 及 B 云区的 34 平方度的初步结果。凭借变异性作为主要选择准则，我们比以往单时段光度选取法获得更干净的样本，使后续光谱跟踪效率大幅提升，初步列出 74 颗新发现的低质量(~0.4 M_sun)原星团恒星。尽管仍属初步，但这批新 T Tauri 恒星已暗示 1a 中吸积年轻恒星的比例远低于 1b，这若干 1a 确实年龄大于 1b 则符合预期。我们正在详细分析这些新恒星的光变曲线，进一步的光谱正在进行中。
