长期GRB 001007的亮光学后glow

摘要

我们报告对GRB 001007在事件发生后6.14小时至约468天期间的光学跟踪观测结果。观测到一种异常亮的光学后glow (OA),其衰减遵循指数为alpha = -2.03 +/- 0.11的陡峭幂律,可能表明光线曲线在t - t0 < 3.5天处存在突破,类似于其他爆炸中所发现的现象。LOTIS警报系统在γ射线事件发生6.14小时后所施加的上限为该光学光线曲线提供了暂且(1.2 sigma)的突破证据。OA的光谱指数beta为-1.24 +/- 0.57。这些数值可由几种火球喷流模型和炮弹模型解释。火球球对扩张模型不受青睐。深度成像揭示了主机星系系统的复杂性,至少包含两个位于后glow位置1.2秒(1.7 sigma)和1.9秒(2.7 sigma)的天体。
