BHK 色图：研究年轻星族构成的新工具

摘要
本文提出一种新方法，通过 (B-H) 与 (H-K) 双色图推导 starburst 星系中各类超星团观察到的年龄差异。该方法即使无需灰尘数据，亦能快速轻松地区分非常年轻和中间年龄的星族。若有灰尘数据，可显著提升时间分辨率。在将该方法应用于 Arp 299 这种 starburst 系统后，我们通过将 H-alpha 线等效宽度与 NGC 3690 北部区域的时间图进行比较，确认了该方法的有效性。
