ASCA中灵敏度巡天(GIS目录项目):源计数和硬源新群体的证据

我们给出了ASCA中灵敏度巡天(AMSS;或GIS目录项目)的首批结果。从总计106 deg²的随机场出发,我们在0.7–7 keV和2–10 keV波段以迄今获得的最佳统计精度确定了Log N-Log S关系,流量范围分别为1×10^-11至5×10^-14和7×10^-14 erg s^-1 cm^-2。当0.7–7 keV波段探测到的源被分为高光谱硬度和低光谱硬度两个子样本时,前者在流量低于约10^-12 erg s^-1 cm^-2(0.7–7 keV)时表现出显著更陡的斜率。源的平均光谱随流量变暗而持续变硬,从0.7–10 keV波段流量约10^-11处的光子谱指数2.1变为约10^-13 erg s^-1 cm^-2处的1.6(0.7–7 keV)。这与2–10 keV波段和0.7–2 keV波段之间源计数的比较一致,解决了先前报告的差异。我们的结果表明硬X射线源从约10^-12到约10^-13 erg s^-1 cm^-2(2–10 keV)随流量减小而快速出现。
