摘要

全天空中能伽马射线天文台探索者(AMEGO-X)旨在识别并表征来自极端爆炸和加速器的伽马射线。主要科学主题包括:超大质量黑洞及其与中微子和宇宙射线的联系;双中子星并合及其产生的相对论性喷流;包括银河系超新星在内的宇宙射线粒子加速源;以及在该重要能段对整个天空其他天体物理事件和源的持续监测。AMEGO-X 将使用单一仪器探测中能伽马射线波段,在 100 keV 至 1 GeV 能段灵敏度比以往望远镜高出一个数量级,这只能在太空中实现。在其三年基线任务期间,AMEGO-X 将每两轨观测几乎整个天空,建立起敏感的伽马射线源与辐射的全天图。AMEGO-X 已在最近的 2021 年 NASA MIDEX 机会公告中提交。
