L 型矮星的年龄

摘要
我们提出了一种基于近红外测光、颜色和距离来推导年轻（<0.7 Gyr）L 型矮星年龄的新方法。该方法基于属于 Upper Sco 协星群（5 Myr）、Alpha Per（85 Myr）和 Pleiades（125 Myr）星团，以及 Ursa Major（400 Myr）和 Hyades（625 Myr）移动星群的 L 型矮星样本。我们将该方法应用于文献中的一些有趣天体，包括已知的 L 型矮星双星、L 型矮星伴星以及年轻 sigma Orionis 星团的光谱成员。
