基于PF星系团与星系群目录，为247个富星系团确定了形态类型。这些适应性类型以经典形态分类方案为基础，并考虑了向团中心的集中度、团内优先方向或优先平面的迹象，以及最亮星系的位置。研究表明，集中度与优先平面均为显著且独立的形态判据。
