萨德伯里中微子观测站对洛伦兹不变性的检验

摘要
对各类型系统中的洛伦兹对称性进行实验检验,对于确保物理学基本假设有坚实基础至关重要。萨德伯里中微子观测站(一台千吨级重水切伦科夫探测器)所有阶段的数据被分析,以寻找中微子 sector 中可能的洛伦兹对称性破坏。此类破坏会在探测器中表现为八种可能的信号类型之一:六种在能量和时间依赖性上不同的太阳电子中微子存活概率的季节性变化,以及两种振荡太阳中微子能谱的形状改变。未观测到此类信号的证据,并在标准模型扩展框架下确定了此类效应大小的极限,包括针对先前未受约束的算符的 40 个极限,以及对另外 15 个算符的改进极限。这使得中微子 sector 中所有最小狄拉克型洛伦兹破坏算符的极限首次可得。
