利用红外选样塞弗特星系检验统一模型

摘要
我们利用一个塞弗特星系样本的同质数据和测量结果，进行了一系列统计检验。这些星系是根据其各向同性性质（远红外流量和暖红外颜色）选取的，这比过去大多数研究者使用的标准（如紫外超）具有显著优势。我们的结果为统一模型提供了有力支持，该模型认为塞弗特2星系包含一个比塞弗特1星系更侧向的环状体，并表明先前显示相反结果的研究很可能是由选择效应造成的。
