摘要
近年来，质子与离子束治疗在输运方面取得了显著进展，目前已存在多种利用这些粒子进行癌症治疗的技术方案。本文回顾了用于外照射放射治疗的粒子加速器的历史发展，并讨论了近期在开发更高效、更具成本效益的粒子源方面所取得的进展。
