摘要
我们报告了对 YbB2 制备的两种不同反应路线所得到的样品在温度和场下的磁抗性、比热和电阻率的测量。样品行为受制于制备程序，由于不同次要相的存在，后者大多通过 X 射线衍射鉴定。这些实验表明 YbB2 是一种金属物质，Yb 原子位于或非常接近其 3+ 态。YbB2 似乎在约5.6 K 时发生抗磁有序，这对于基于镱的金属间化合物而言属于较高的有序温度。
