紧凑陡坡频谱射电源的同步辐射谱与年龄

摘要
紧凑陡坡频谱（CSS）源的高频综合频谱显示出现谱峭度适中的频谱变率，符合持续注入同步辐射频谱的良好拟合。在脊柱主导的CSS源中，若假设等分区磁场，则可由同步辐射理论推导出的辐射年龄范围可达0.1百万年。这些辐射年龄与源尺寸密切相关，表明CSS源正处于年轻阶段。为维持约10百万年寿命的“挫折情景”，则需将CSS源的等分区磁场系统性降低超过20倍。为完善本研究中使用的样本，本文采用IRAM 30米望远镜对尚未进行此类高频观测的CSS源进行了230 GHz观测。
