HE-LHC的同步辐射阻尼、束内散射与束束效应模拟

摘要
拟议的高能LHC项目呈现出强同步辐射(SR)阻尼与束内散射(IBS)的不寻常组合,这在当前的强子对撞机中未曾出现。本文报道的研究课题是针对HE-LHC参数进行束束效应模拟。计算了SR和IBS的参数,并在无束束相互作用的情况下模拟了亮度演化。随后,采用弱-强数值模拟预测束束相互作用对粒子损失和发射度演化的影响。
