高银纬处的同步辐射偏振

摘要
我们展示了利用Effelsberg望远镜在21厘米波段绘制高银纬银河系偏振图的初步结果。所得图上的结构大多在几度的尺度上。结果显示在大部分天区探测到了偏振，其水平达到同步辐射发射的百分之几十。斯托克斯Q和U参数比呈现更多结构的证据表明存在法拉第旋转。
