摘要
Swift首次为我们提供了研究超巨星快速X射线暂现源（SFXTs）在其生命周期所有阶段（爆发、中间态和宁静态）的机会。我们展示了对四个SFXTs的密集监测结果，自2007年10月以来每周观测2-3次。我们发现，出乎意料的是，SFXTs大部分时间处于中等吸积水平（ erg s），其特征是丰富的耀发活动。我们概述了利用Swift对SFXTs的研究，即我们项目的关键结果。我们强调了Swift在爆发观测和系统监测方面对该领域的独特贡献。
