K0(L) --> pi0 pi0 nu nu-bar 衰变的研究

摘要

利用 KEK 12 GeV 质子同步加速器上的 E391a 探测器研究了稀有衰变 K0(L) --> pi0 pi0 nu nu-bar。基于 9.4 × 10^9 个 K0L 衰变事例,在 90% 置信水平下得到该衰变分支比的上限为 8.1 × 10^{-7}。我们还对 K0(L) --> pi0 pi0 X(X --> 不可见粒子)过程设定了限制;对于 X 的质量范围从 50 MeV/c^2 到 200 MeV/c^2,其分支比上限在 7.0 × 10^{-7} 至 4.0 × 10^{-5} 之间变化。
