ALMA 对致密核心的研究

致密核心是我们已知最简单星形成场，但尽管其简单性仍保持着诸多谜团，限制了我们对如何形成太阳质量恒星的理解。ALMA 有望彻底改变我们对核心生命周期每个阶段的认识，从星际前阶段到新生恒星最终破坏阶段。本稿提供了致密核心演化的简要综述，并阐述了将从 ALMA 获得的分辨率和灵敏度提升中将大受益的具体问题。
