本报告回顾了我们在 SU(2) 规范理论格点模拟中对瞬子及其性质的研究。我们测量了 QCD 真空中的拓扑磁化率和瞬子尺寸分布。我们还研究了在瞬子背景场构型中运动的夸克的性质，其中瞬子的尺寸和位置取自全规范理论的模拟。这些多瞬子构型本身不禁闭夸克，但它们会诱导手征对称性破缺。
