核心+4n 原子核中的强中子配对

摘要

通过从 19^{19}N 与 21^{21}O 次级束进行高能核子敲出,研究了富中子 N ⁣= ⁣12N\!=\!12 同中子异位素 18^{18}C 与 20^{20}O 的中子对发射,布居了这两种同中子异位素在其双中子发射阈值之上高达 15~MeV 的未束缚态。对三体碎片-nn-nn 关联的分析表明,衰变 19^{19}N(1p)18(-1p)^{18}C ⁣16^*\!\rightarrow^{16}C+nn+nn 明显由直接对发射主导。该双中子关联强度为有史以来观测到的最大者,表明其以一个 14^{14}C 核心被四个排布于强关联对中的价中子包围为主导。另一方面,在衰变 21^{21}O(1n)20(-1n)^{20}O ⁣18^*\!\rightarrow^{18}O+nn+nn 中发现显著的顺序分支竞争,这归因于其通过敲出一个深束缚中子形成,该中子破坏了 16^{16}O 核心并减少了对数。
