来自 Tevatron 和 LHC 顶反顶产生过程对顶夸克复合性的严格限制

摘要

如果顶夸克是由某些组分构成的复合态,其与胶子的相互作用将被修改。我们引入了导致顶夸克半径和反常磁矩的主导有效算符,并研究了它们对 Tevatron 和 LHC 上顶反顶产生截面的影响。当前的截面测量对复合性标度设定了严格的限制。该限制与针对轻夸克获得的类似限制以及来自电弱精密测量的限制相当。它可用于约束某些复合希格斯模型的参数空间。
