摘要
我们进行了从头计算研究,以阐明最近在吸收亚单层Cu和其他材料的外延Co薄膜中观察到的异常磁性行为。我们发现,在台阶状Co/Cu(100)薄膜上沉积亚单层Cu会显著改变体系的电子和磁结构。该效应主要源于当铜在表面Co台阶旁形成"线"时,Co和Cu的电子发生杂化。结果促进了磁矩的非共线排列(易轴切换)。[PACS 75.70.Ak, 75.70.-i]
