巨型星系 M82 亚水平分支区的恒星变性

我们报告了对 MACHO 项目巨型星系 M82 数据库的初步结果，这是对不稳定条带与主序星交叉处附近的恒星变性进行深入检索的结果。该数据集的长时间序列和一致光度测量是描述各种径向和非径向模式激发频率和发生区域的前所未有的资源。我们调查了原始 MACHO 光度数据，以识别导致大部分残余光度波动的因素并提高对小幅度变动的灵敏度。我们报告了搜索方法的细节、迄今为止发现的 Delta Scuti 变量以及对完整调查的含义。
